This is a beautiful Sam Maloof / Hal Taylor inspired Curly Maple rocker with Laminated Purpleheart seat. This rocker is sized to fit a 5' to 5'-5" individual but it really depends on leg length. The back braces are bent laminated with a Purpleheart front, a core of Ash (same material used to make archery bows) and the back face is Curly Maple. The braces not only provide lumbar support but they flex with your back. The center brace provides more flexibility ensuring that all seven braces cradle your back, you'll soon forget it's made from wood. Free freight to anywhere in the continental United States.
